ursprünglich hatte ich heute eingeplant, mich durch eine meiner Lieblingssängerinnen etwas inspirieren zu lassen, aber obwohl ich diesen Termin in meinem geschäftlichen Kalender seit Wochen reserviert hatte (und seit Jahren keine Besprechungen mehr freitagnachmittags stattfanden), hat ein Kollege einen Termin mit starker Teilnahmeerwartung ausgerechnet dort hingelegt. Nun wäre das unvollständig berichtet, wenn ich nicht dazu sagen würde, dass ich schon vor der Einladung des Kollegen meinen Plan mit einem Freund, dessen Rat ich sehr schätze, besprochen und mich damit innerlich für Feedback geöffnet hatte. Ich weiß nicht, was ihn veranlasst hat, hier ein zurückhaltendes Signal zu setzen, aber ich gehe davon aus, dass es "vom höchsten Standpunkt aus betrachtet" einen guten Grund dafür gegeben hat, und damit ist, selbst wenn ich diesen Grund nicht kenne, die einzig angemessene Reaktion darauf Freude. So weit reicht mein Vertrauen ja. Während dieses Meetings sind meine Gedanken dann aber schon ziemlich oft abgeschweift und ich habe mich schließlich gefragt: Was kann ich daraus entstehen lassen? Diesmal musste ein Rolling Stones Song herhalten. Ich hatte schon länger vor, mich mal an was Englisches ran zu wagen (bin ja noch Anfänger), und diese Musik hat sich als gut dafür geeignet erwiesen, da sie reichlich Spielraum lässt (welchen offenbar auch Mick Jagger gerne nutzt, indem er den Text je nach Stimmung etwas variiert). Rausgekommen ist dabei das hier:
